Fine but one issue

I recieved my MacBook replacement battery and so far it is working as expected.
But there is a minor issue. One of the retaining screw hole tabs on the battery came broken off. In trying to understand why this was I have come to the conclusion that someone pried it out of a laptop with force because they did not see the second retaining screw. Did I buy a new battery? I’m not sure. I installed it with one screw holding it in place but installed the second screw back in place so it will not be lost. I am not returning for an exchange but please be more careful of what you send out.
