Saved my iMac 5k

My 27” iMac 5k’s AC inlet was burnt to a crisp so I needed to replace it. Fortunately I found out that Part Haven sold the necessary part.

The package included a full replacement for the AC inlet, with all the necessary screws and even the standoff for the ground loop. The part received was used but worked perfectly.

Replacement process itself is straightforward if time consuming since the AC jack is the last part to come out of the case.

Overall a great repair experience!

Great service and fast shipment!

Thought a Lighting Strike had ruined my imac, the staff at part haven suggested I try to replace the power plug first. It was hard to get to(the whole computer had to be taken apart) but it worked and I saved myself the expense of a new mac.
